What a catch!

I don't think I have ever mentioned what a GREAT husband I have, but I have a GREAT husband. These are a few of my favorite things about him! -He is very good looking with or with out facial hair, though I think I am partial to the beard! -He agreed to go shoe shopping with me for our Valentines Day date! which anyone who has ever gone shopping let alone shoe shopping with me knows what torture it is. Then I even talked him into going to this little pizza place I had heard of for dinner that was farther away than I thought it would be, plus it was snowing and the roads where less that fabulous. -He gives me compliments on how I look, usually when I think I am looking my worst! -He is competitive and likes to be the best in everything he does! He had been playing a game on his ipod and gotten this great high score and then he let me play it and I beat his score by quite a bit, in just the one time I played. He played that game as much as he could for the next few days until he beat...

In their room

So about a year ago I went  to a meeting at church that lasted much longer than it should have. Glen was home "taking care" of the girls. When I finally got home I didn't see anyone in the house and everything was pretty quiet. So I was thinking maybe they went for a walk! I decided to look around a bit to make sure. When I went down the hall by the girl's room I could hear them talking so I quietly opened the door to see what they where doing.  To my surprise I found Lilly with marker in hand coloring on Lucy's face. I asked her what she was doing and she said" I am making Lucy look like a cat!"  I calmly said, " Oh, is that what she is. Good job! Where is your dad?" Lilly replied," He's sleeping on the couch."   So I went back to the front room to take a better look around and found Glen sure enough sound asleep on the couch. I nicely woke him up and ask, "Where are the girls ? And what are they doing?" Some how he was...

Wrong size

I am sure  Lucy will love me for this when she is older or maybe not. It was so cute and so funny that I wanted to share.  The other night she was sitting on my bed as I was putting laundry away and getting ready for bed trying to be a helper.  Well I hadn't put my bra away and she grabed it put it up to her chest and said," Mommy, this is the wrong size, it don't fit."    How she came up with that all on her own and at the right time I don't know but it was the funniest part of my day!

Hair today, Gone tomorrow

To get your first hair cut at our house you have to be at least two, because the hair gene that lots of our family and friends have and give to their kids so they come out with a full head of hair,  it skipped us. So really our kids just don't have enough hair to cut until after they are two.   Lucy is a few months over two and what thin, fine hair she had was rather scragley and Lilly needed a hair cut, so last week I took them and got hair cuts. It was a little sad because it makes Lucy look a little older and not like my little baby.  So here is before, getting it dried and after and I guess Lilly was jipped because she has already had hair cuts so I didn't take many pictures of her. She is getting her hair styled after her cut in this.   This was just today but I though her hair was amazing. I wish I looked that cute with crazy hair.
