A little bit more

Today's trip to the country store cost me a little more than I was going to spend. My excuse is he was way to cute in those hat and boots and I don't buy new things for him very often because we have a lot of hand me downs. Oh he's fun. I forgot to mention what a funny kid he is. He has a really goofy personality and is really a tease already. He is pretty willing to give hugs and kisses to people but if he really likes you he licks you. I end up getting licked a lot, which is kind of yuckie. He also likes to get the frozen butter boxes out of our freezer on our fridge, which is on bottom, and open them and then unwrap the cubes of butter. I think I need a lock. He definitely keeps us on our toes.

Summer Part B

Lots of pictures. This sums up the rest of our summer at least what the kids and I did. Glen spent a lot of time away from us. He went to scout camp for part of a week, youth conference, Venture camp with his priests and a day hike. I have to get Lilly's summer camp performance video but it is on Evelyn's camera   and I don't have it to get it off right now.  Building forts in the front room.  Playing in the rain.  Playing in the mud.  Making sure brother is muddy enough and if not putting more mud on him.  Playing with cousins and wet chalk. We also washed the car.  Decorating the new mail box. Wet chalk is so fun.  You can also face paint with it too!  Running away from Daryl and his "sneaky fingers."  Ward carnival fun.  Enjoying books in the basement with Dad.  Swinging with Mom.  Riding with Grandma Richins  in her fun car.  Treasure f...

Blah, blah, blah

My semi smart phone is about to die. It randomly but very frequently thinks it is charging when it isn't. So since I will have to  actually sit at the computer again to blog. I thought I would enjoy my one of my last chances not too. It may not happen very much. So here are random things I am enjoying about my kids and husband. Lilly is getting so grow up. She is liking her teacher better this year than the two she had last year. This teacher has a better system in place to control the wilder kids in the class so she doesn't come home complaining about being yelled at all the time. This is good. She tries to have thick skin but is really sensitive to things like that even if it isn't directed at her. She is interested in orchestra so I think we'll try that this year. She likes to climb in one of the apple trees and read or just be alone. She seems to have her own sense of style and not care what others think of it. I hope she stays that way. She also likes to...

What we are doing

None of my favorite people are blogging. I feel like I am in a drought. I might start making up stories for what everyone is doing because I am missing them so much. I can't talk much. I have a bunch of posts started but not finished and some seem not worth finishing. I could finish the story I started about how Daryl lost our keys two weeks ago and we didn't have any spares, but I started it on my phone and I am at the computer and that seems like too much effort right now to go get my phone. So I will give you news from today. We got a new bishopric last week, so this was their first official week. It's fun to see the different style each group has. This one will be much different than the last. Testimony meeting was good. Most of the testimonies talked about how different people have had important influences on them and how the gospel is the same no matter where in the world you are. That Heavenly Father has his hand in our lives  and is trying to mold us in to the...
