I Love You a Bushel and a Peck

Here is some photographic evidence of good things from this week.  Monkeys in a tree. One up high and one down low. Also nice enough weather. No jacket in February.  Raif, Ellie, Beth and Evelyn eating chicken nuggets together. These kids keep Evelyn on her toes and Evelyn keeps all of us on our toes.   Lucy’s team and coach at their AZ tournament. She is having lots of good learning experiences with out us.  Beth photographing Glen and Goob. He does a lot of good for us.  Goob being a good and patient dog for a Beth or Ruth inspired photo shoot.  Daryl getting a haircut and getting ready to light a candle. I might give up on cutting his hair and leave it to the professionals. It works for now.  A couple quilts getting quilted. I haven’t taken pictures of the other yet.  The black at the top of the quilt has the name of the little boy that is getting this quilt. It just hasn’t been cut out yet.  A pretty setting moon on a morning walk.  ...

Rollin’ with my homies

The most notable thing from this week was my mom was out of town. We spent more time in Herriman helping with Evelyn because of it. I don’t know if that was a good thing or not. She had been hardly eating, drinking, and getting g out of bed. This week she has made up for not eating much the past month. Not the turn we expected.  A few other things- The morning I decided to start walking Glen to work again, there was snow. The rest of the week was in teen or single digits which is too cold to walk in.  Bed head and sleepy eyes from a night at Evelyn’s.  Lilly rolling out a roll…. With all but one handful of dough. We were ask to make rolls for Lincoln’s 16th birthday dinner.  One normal size and one this size should work, right?  She’s so fun!  Cousin time. They have to soak it up. Jed found out when he starts his new job in Idaho.   Help for Jed and a bunch of other family with Evelyn while Mom was gone.  Fun pictures from music class with our goo...

Fun in the Sun

Sunday night Glen and I stayed with Uncle Fred and Marj in Logandale. They were really great hosts especially since Uncle Fred was not feeling the best. Monday morning we had some time to spare before Glen had to be in St George. They offered to show us Warm Springs. It was a fun adventure.  The church owned property and the state owned place were not really open but we made the most of it. A gate was open for garbage day on the church property so we wandered a little on our own before the service missionaries talked to us about it for a bit about the site. Then Marj, Glen and I ventured over a low fence on the state of Nevada property part of the springs. It was a fun oasis to find out about.   Uncle Fred and Marj were really kind and gracious. They are really excellent people that I am really g...
