Lately I have felt like Lucy has run our house. She YELLS a lot, and has lots and lots of attitude. She is our resident wild woman. Here is a sample of some of our conversations.
Lunch-
Mom- "Lucy, what do you want for lunch?"
Lucy-"Umm, I want tomato soup."
M- "Okay"
L- "Except with out the tomatoes."
I don't know how to do that.
Yesterday, on our way to get Lilly from school. We walk because it is in our backyard. Her scooter was in the back of the van covered by some things.
Mom-" It's time to go get Lilly, hop in the stroller, please."
Lucy- screaming "I WANT my SCOOTER!"
M- "You can't ride your scooter because you aren't suppose to ride it on the school grounds and it's only three houses away. It's not worth it."
L- "I WANT MY SCOOTER!"
M- As I grab her and put her in the stroller and start walking to the school. "You can't ride your scooter especially when you are throwing a fit like this."
L-"I don't want to be in in here. I WANT MY SCOOTER!"
M- "Well, I am sorry. I want you to be happy but that's not happening. We don't always get what we want."
L- "I DON'T WANT TO BE HAPPY. IT'S BORING."
What mom was thinking," Well heaven forbid we be boring."
