Here are pictures of parts of our week. It’s all I’ve got time for now.
Lucy captured Evelyn clapping for Marian playing the piano. Both Marian and I have started trying to play again because she likes it so much.

This quilt was a challenge. It was not flat or square. Quiltie people would say it had “fullness” in it. I searched the internet for suggestions on what to do to help it. After a lot of ironing, misting with water, ironing, starching and ironing some more I felt like a magician and that I made it look good.
Janene came to watch the varsity volleyball team in their state tournament play in game. After moving around a lot we settled in next to the student sections of both teams. It was really fun and she is really fun!
Lilly and Lucy missed a surprise birthday party for one of their young women leaders because of school activities. I was pleasantly surprised that Lilly had gone and got her treats she would like and then later took them to her.
A random Sunday picture taken by Daryl
Smiling faces. This girl has seemed hard lately. Just when I think something is figured out it’s not or it is but something else comes up with her.
Another random Su day picture by DarylGoob just made himself comfortable on Glen’s lap one day when he was reading, he didn’t let the book or anything get in his way.
Another quilt I got done this week. It was also tricky. I didn’t feel near as confident with my skills after finishing it but my customer was very pleased. I guess that’s what’s important.
Evelyn gives some of the best faces when we try to get her to take medicine. She also usually tries to get us to take the medicine for her or other silly things that won’t really work.
Lilly made these pajama pants in her sewing class. She was so pleased.
One not pictured thing. Dinner with Cali and Jeff went well. Cali is so great. I forgot how fun she is. She’s done lots of cool and adventurous things in the almost twenty years it’s been since seeing each other. My kids were really good and played games among themselves, participated in the visiting a little and behaved really well for not having any other kids to play with.
