Tuesday before school started Daryl got a back to school haircut.
Lucy had her first volleyball game of the season and Ruth tested out how good she looks in Ellie’s hat. Pretty good. After volleyball, we went to back to school night at the elementary and met all the teachers the younger kids will have. It put them to ease a little more about Thursday.

Lilly and I finished helping Avery with her quilt. Just in time for them to move in to their apartment.
Wednesday Lucy started 10th grade.

Glen had his first day at Herriman with students in the building. He found Lincoln and Topher but didn’t impress Lucy with the pictures he sent.
In return she sent him pictures of his former coworkers that she gets to be at school with. It’s going to be fun to see how this year goes with them and their school rivalry.
Thursday Daryl started 6th grade, Ruth 4th grade and Beth 1st grade.
Thursday afternoon once Lilly had some sleep we took most of her stuff down to her apartment. She wasn’t feeling the best. She ended up coming back home with me to get more sleep. Then Glen took her down to her apartment later to drop off a few more things and in time for her to go to work.Friday the little girls and I weren’t feeling the best. They stayed home from school and we tested for Covid but it was negative. Just the back to school bug.
Ruth and Beth entertained themselves partly by drawing these cherries. That wasn’t how the second day of school was suppose to go but such is life.
Saturday we started cleaning rooms so we could do a bed swap. The little girls wanted the bunk bed back and Lucy wanted the day bed or something other than the bunk bed. That started a whole new project we are still working on.
That’s enough for one week though.
