We made it to spring break. It was just what we needed. We didn’t do too much out of the ordinary. We did enjoy not having school. We took care of our neighbor’s animals. We spent time in Herriman with Evelyn. Ruth and Beth had sleepovers at Ellie’s house with Anna and then Grandma and Grandpa Richins. Lucy had practice and work at both Evelyn’s and the dog daycare. She also had some apeperances with cookies to make. It’s one of her favorite things.
Evelyn is still with us. From Thursday morning around 6:30 am to about 5pm on Sunday, she didn’t have anything to eat or drink. She had morphine a couple times but basically slept. We thought it was the beginning of the end. Though we do keep getting closer to Evelyn passing; she keeps finding new lows and must want to live or be afraid of dying or something. It is so perplexing. She is so tiny she makes me realize how people in concentration camps made it.
On Friday we tried to do some fun things. We ended up using our zoo pass and go with cousins, Anna and Ellie. We ate at The Habit and had Anna sleepover at our house.
On Saturday Glen and Daryl wanted to go for a drive. The two of them and the two little girls headed to Moab for a conference drive. They had a great time and made it there and back in the same day.
I stayed home to tend the neighbor's animals and check on Evelyn.
