March showed up with snow and cold. Luckily it warmed up and melted in a day or two and showed signs of spring actually coming before it cooled of and rained at the end of the week.
It was a bit of a rough week. There is a lot going on and things didn’t really go as I planned the first couple days this week and I didn’t handle it well. I was not as nice to my most important people as I could have been. It took most of the week to work through it. It has left a not great feel on the week.

It was a bit of a rough week. There is a lot going on and things didn’t really go as I planned the first couple days this week and I didn’t handle it well. I was not as nice to my most important people as I could have been. It took most of the week to work through it. It has left a not great feel on the week.
The bright spots seem more worth remembering. They are-
- Beth telling her cousin, “ Well guess what? Me and my mom are best buds so there.”
- My neighbor bringing over the favor from the Relief Society activity I was suppose to take a salad too and attended but didn’t have a salad ready when it was time for it and I decided I just really needed to be home.
- Evelyn’s nurse, Arla. She’s just a great person and loves Evelyn with alll her quirks. She helps us out so much with her visits twice a week.
- Egbert family pictures. The weather, Evelyn and all the children cooperated. It was great to be together and I am excited to see how they turn out.
- Glen taking Lucy to her volleyball tournament. He probably got the easy part because I had all the other kids. It made it so we could do some cleaning and then the kids could play with cousins and I could work on a costume for the play Lilly is in. Plus Lucy’s team won the tournament!
- Having my mom and all my brother’s kids with us at church today. We were a bit of a spectacle with 12 children between 15-2 and only three adults but it was fun and some great cousin time. Thank heavens for the late church time on daylight savings day with that many kids to get ready.
- Having family and cousins near by to play with and spend time with and help with and just share life with.

I forgot Lucy got to job shadow my sister Ali for 7th grade job shadow day. It was really great of her to do. I think they both had a good time. The picture was to make sure the shirt would work for the day.
Silly kids making faces on Evelyn’s nanny cams
My dad and brothers in their dress uniforms. From top to bottom serious, happy and silly
Evelyn not wanting her picture with the men in uniform because she was in her pajamas
(but just half way)
I convinced her it would be okay
