Heat wave-week ending July 17

Last week didn’t get documented well with pictures. There were a lot of fun and good things that happened that don’t have photo evidence of them happening. Here are some of them. I bought a film SLR camera. I have been toying around with the idea for awhile and decided to just do it. I have a lot to learn.  I am having fun playing around with it and hope some of the pictures I have taken turn out how I hope.  Monday night we had Anna and Mason sleep over at our house. Daryl, Mason and Beth slept out in the tent. Anna and Ruth in the basement. Tuesday Mason slept over again at our house but Ruth and Beth slept over at Anna’s and went to a drive in movie. Daryl and Mason went shopping for fabric and design ideas with Grandma Egbert for the quilts she is going to make them or have them help make. Pomp and circumstance

Lilly graduated on June 2. I made all the kids come. Glen was there on double duty as dad and assistant principal. Grandma and Grandpa Richins and Grandma Egbert came. (Grandpa Egbert does not like graduation ceremonies so did not attend but is still pleased with her)  Glen got to sneak up and hand her diploma to her. That was fun.
