Okay not really but it could be really close!

Lilly did this back on June 19. My sister works for Herriman city and got her entered in the mutton bustin of a rodeo in Herriman. Glen and I ended up having a wedding dinner for a friend that night too, so Grandma and Grandpa Richins got Lilly to the rodeo and then we came to watch her and then hurried back to the dinner and then back to watch the rest of the rodeo. With all of that we forgot our camera. A lady my sister works with took pictures of all of the kids riding so I have been waiting for her to get me the images! She did a great job! Lilly didn't stay on the sheep very long but she had fun, didn't cry and even said she would do it again. She got a cool medial for participation. She wants to do it again because she didn't win and she had her eye on the winners trophy which was about two feet tall! She's just a little competative!
Also we went to the Salt Lake County Fair just last week to see our neighbors show thier sheep, and while we were looking around we found a surprised. The Fair has the cities in the county do a little booth about themselves and Herriman's had a bunch of pictures of different events that happen. To our surprise Lilly was in one of the pictures. The third picture down was blown up to be two foot by a foot and a half and was on display. Herriman's booth was really well done and they won the top honor for the city booths, but we hadn't even seen the pictures of Lilly so we were very surprised! And with my sister working for the city we were able to get the big picture of Lilly! I don't know what we will do with it but we love it!
My brother sent us an email with pictures of things that make you say "Oh crap" and that is what we think Lilly is saying in that picture!

Savor the sheep riding now -- pretty soon, you have to move up to cows. They get a few rodeo drop-outs at that point.

Faith has always wanted to ride a sheep! Good for Lilly for being so competitive! She's gonna win it next year!

July 15-19  Early Monday morning we went to the Provo airport to head to John Wayne airport then down to San Diego to celebrate Larry and Janene's 50th wedding anniversary. We met up with everyone but Josh and his girlfriend, Amberlee in Provo. They left earlier and drove so they could visit her family as well. My dad is a bit John Wayne fan so we had to take a picture with The Duke at his airport for him.  Once we had our luggage, rental van and food in our bellies we had to get sand between our toes and salt water at least on our feet. We ate at a fun little place in San Clemente called Cafe Rae. It was really little. Our group of nine took up about half their seats. It was really good food and they had great hospitality.  Our next stop was the USS Midway in San Diego. Larry had talked about visiting this and the Saint Mary for a long time. My cup with blessings overflows

 I am trying to get back in the habit of blogging. Before I go to bed, even though I should be in bed here are blessings from this week. I don’t know it I will remember them all there were so many.  Being home to attend church with our ward.  Talks from two sister in our ward, Louisa Jones who is a brand new young woman and Holly Draney who is the Primary President, on Sister Kristin Yee’s conference talk, that complimented each other well.  They reminded me that God is in the details and even when mistakes are made he can use it to help us learn and bless us. Louisa talked about how she was mad when her parents decided they should move a few years ago but Heavely Father has made it work out. Holly brought up the definitions of the words possibility and joy. She also talked about repairing quilts that had things happen to them. Also a talk from Matt Reeves about the power of the priesthood and how it has blessed his life and has preserved his life.  A great less...
