This week was a bit of a doozy. At least for me. There were some not so great parts that could completely over shadow the good so we are going to focus on the good. I am also copying Heather and listing things that were highlights for each person.
Lilly- watching Into the Woods, with the original broadway cast, going for a bike ride on the JordanRiver parkway and seeing two missionaries chillin on the other side of the river and seeing pelicans and deciding they look like pterodactyls, going for a drive.
Daryl- not dying on Lilly’s drive when she almost ran in to a stop sign, watching Gravity Falls shorts, sleeping, and going to Grandma and Grandpa Egbert’s.
Lucy- getting marbles for Grandma Richins and giving them to her, setting up the volleyball net in our yard and playing volleyball at home as well as at my cousin Carrie’s house, and trying to go to Home Depot with Glen and seeing the line for the liquor store that wrapped around the building with out social distancing.
Beth- riding on the neighbor boy, Andrew’s little motorcycle with Daryl’s help, watching part of Into the Woods with Lilly, having dinner at Grandma and Grandpa Egbert’s and spending time at Grandma and Grandpa Richins on Saturday.
Ruth- having a sleepover with Grandma Egbert at Evelyn’s, getting to do school work at Grandma and Grandpa Richins, riding Andrew’s motorcycle/dirt bike, watching Mr. Eaton’s bedtime stories.
Glen- life is good, everyone is healthy and happy, we have time to be home and work on yard and house projects. He also got a new tool to help him with projects that he’s very excited about.
Kayci- having extended family close, willing to help, the rest of the week being better than Wednesday, but having the ability to grieve and mourn like I needed too, seeing ducklings and goslings on morning walks, and seeing the dogs play off leash on the canal.

Loss is so hard. Glad that you are letting yourself feel that loss even though it hurts a lot. It is its own kind of sacrament.
