I haven't posted anything about Lilly and I was thinking I should come up with something for her (not that it would be hard) but she did the work for me. A couple of days ago Lucy was playing with Glen's ipod on our bed and Lilly really wanted a turn so she kept bugging Lucy asking if she could have a turn or to let her see the ipod. Glen got sick of her asking so he told her she couldn't talk to Lucy anymore about the ipod because it was Lucy's turn and when she was done Lilly could have a turn. So what did she do . . .
Then she came back into our room and gave Lucy the note. Glen saw the note and asked her who helped her with it. She told him no one. So he asked her how she knew how to spell the words and she told him she just sounded them out. We didn't think she did too bad for a four year old.
She went out to the kitchen got a post-it note and wrote Lucy a note all by herself.
And what adds to this is that Lilly got the ipod within a couple minutes of giving Lucy the note.
It wasn't because Lucy could read the note though- she is 2!
The whole thing just makes me laugh! She must get the smarts from Glen!
She is such a fun kid to have and completely too smart for her own good. I sometimes wonder what she will do in kindergarten. To dote on her more, yesterday she came out and read stories to Lucy before preschool instead of watching t.v. without even being asked!

By the way, Glen's mom and dad would really like reading your blog -- have you shown them?
