I don't have too many pictures on my phone from the week. Partly because my phone memory is almost full so I have to be sneaky about how I take pictures.
I got to go with some of the miamaids to Sister Maxey's house to do service for our YW activity. We helped clean her house and visited with her. She played the organ for us! Then gave us money and told us to get ice cream cones and bring her back one too. So we did.
We hired my brother to do some concrete for us. We are extending the south west pad by a few feet and then taking it down the length of the carport and garage and behind the garage too.
After dropping Daryl off at school Ruth wanted to see our neighbor friend, Gwen. She always lets us help feed her chickens. She had some corn cobs from her dad's garden to give the chickens. The chickens loved them but so did Beth both parties had a hard time sharing.
Friday night was the first home football game at RHS. They had a barbecue for the faculty, staff and students. I was planning on the whole family going but the big girls got a babysitting/playing with friends gig last minute. It turned in to me and the littles. The kids were a bit overwhelmed by all the big kids there so we laid low and ate behind the barbecues to warm up.
We eventually warmed up enough to walk around the commons area and get a paw painted on a cheek by a cheer leader. It was a great night for football. To bad our team isn't the greatest right now. We tried being in the bleachers but the kids were jumping around and climbing up and down so much that we had to go down to the grass so the flashes of split lips or chins or heads would go away. We made it till after the Silverline had danced during half time and then we went home and left Glen to his work.
Evelyn and Roberta have been having more not so great days than good days as of late. Evelyn is the worst. Especially since the spell or thing she had last week. Her heart racing spells are lasting longer and longer and taking more out of her.
There were good things that happened both pictured and not.
Some non pictured things that are good are-
There is finally another co- treasurer for PTA and we are finally on the bank account and getting trained a bit!
I got my visiting teaching done in August with a partner or at least her help. This hasn't happened in awhile but my goal is to keep it up.
Here are the pictured ones

The swing set had to be moved over a few feet to make this happen so Jed moved it while he had my dad's skid steer here. That was a big change.
Daryl's first day of kindergarten finally came! He loves school, not homework though. He also dressed himself.

He is missing the ability to focus and finish tasks with out interruption. He gets interrupted quite a bit so a 5 minute task takes much longer than that.
Evelyn and Roberta have been having more not so great days than good days as of late. Evelyn is the worst. Especially since the spell or thing she had last week. Her heart racing spells are lasting longer and longer and taking more out of her. Roberta just seems to be on her ever so gradual decline. She is getting thinner and it is getting harder for her to get up on her own from sitting.
I have been worrying/wondering if one of them is going to decide to celebrate their dad's birthday with him instead of here on earth. It will be his 130th on Friday, September 9.

I'm right there with you worrying about Evelyn and Roberta. Having them as part of my life because they are part of yours is one of the sweet things in life. Tell them I love them.
