Life is so full right now with so much of everything going on. A pandemic, presidential debates, a season whose whole objective is to slow things down, volleyball, driving practice, piano, quilting, time with Evelyn, preschool, time with Paige and Azya and Larry and Janene. It ranges from really good to really bad, I’m looking at you COVID and presidential debates.
Here is what was good in our world this week- the afterglow of conference and then a good devotional from school.
Deciding to stay in school and figuring out a plan to have time to study and getting close to caught up.
Lucy having three volleyball practices even though that meant she didn’t have games this week.
Everyone being able to go to Janene and Larry’s on Tuesday night. We mostly just ate dinner together and visited. Paige was there too. Boy, has it been fun to have her around for awhile.
Preschool and music class being just about the best thing ever for Beth!
A busy work week for Glen ending in a get together at his co workers house for a fun masked barbecue.
Lilly finding out she has fun songs to practice this month for voice and MDT class. She also joined FFA and is trying the livestock judging and Ag issues competitions.
Going to the dog park today with the whole family after our first fast and testimony meeting in months, with the whole ward because we are so small and restrictions have changed.
No power all day Sunday. It was both a little annoying and really wonderful at the same time
Here are a few good things in pictures-
Lucy helped my mom harvest the pumpkins she grew in her garden this year. I think the count was 84.
The dog park was fun for both the dogs and us. We think we will go back soon.
I was amused by the company I found on my bed when so stayed with Evelyn this week.
Evelyn ask, “what kind of sandwich does Lucy have. I told her it was called and open face one. She said, “ Well she’ll have to do that real big to get it in there. It’s big.”
