This was our last week of summer.
We tried to do a lot of things to live it up the best we could.
We tried to do some fun things.
We tried to get in as many sleepovers with cousins, aunts and grandparents as possible.
We tried to enjoy a whole evening and morning with kids all at sleep overs. It was a wonderful rare treat!
We tried to worked a lot or at least as much as we are suppose too. Mostly Glen and Lilly and me.
We tried to do things to get us ready for school.
We tried to shop with out falling apart.
We tried to spend a lot of time with cousins.
We tried to swim a lot. That means the kids not me.
We tried to explore a new park. It was fun and wet.
We tried to enjoy seeing the mountains and sky for a few days when the smoke left.
We tried to enjoy the puppies that were left at Grandma’s for puppy sitting.
We tried to cheer loud at Lucy’s first volleyball game.
We tried to cheer on teachers and help them know they are appreciated and doing good things.
We tried to enjoy this last evening before school starts in our yard with our kids and animals and a red setting sun and smoky skies.
We are trying to look at all the blessings and opportunities we have with the full schedules we have going in to this year.
We are trying to be ready to face this full life and not crumble or hide in our bed under the covers.
We are trying to see the hand of God in our lives like we talked about in Sunday school today and revel in His light and laws that He always follows.
The sign we made to hold up for teachers while they were on their field trip around Riverton and their other feeder schools.
