Here are some positives and negatives from the week and pictures of some of the happenings.
Being in a PTA meeting where we got to talk about who to nominate for awards, and having plenty of great people in the school to choose from.
Being at a meeting with parents from around the district and hearing lots of complaining and unsatisfied people even though there are lots of good things that the district is trying to do. I left so frustrated at the other parents.
Working on puzzles during the week.
Having a meal plan and a grocery list and sticking to them. Food is helpful.
Making pizza dough so the deacon’s quorum could make home pizzas at our house with the pizza oven.
Having to be at Eve So I couldn’t help with the pizza making or have fresh pizza.
Having minimal enough tailoring skills to alter Lucy’s sweethearts dress with out calling my mom who was out of town or my friend who makes costumes.
Getting a tie for Lucy’s date but forgetting a boutonnière.
Having people who can step in and help more at Evelyn’s, while other people have to step back and deal with other matters.
Glen painting the hallway.
Ruth being able to help contribute to the essay for one of her former teachers to get an award.
The younger girls being able to have some cousin time with Idaho cousins and cousins close.
Evelyn following my mint orders and not dying while she was out of town this week.
My mom being out of town this week for a much needed break.
Having a good heartfelt talk with Janene.
Celebrating Lincoln’s 17th birthday today with dinner at his house.
Trying out new recipes to find breakfast options that Ruth will eat but aren’t loaded with sugar.
