This week was an interesting week.
Here are some of the things that happened.
My mom and two of her sisters and some friends went to Bryce Canyon for a quilting retreat. We had enough help from family to be able to take care of Evelyn while they were gone.
Uncle Hal Porter passed away. Larry and Janene made plans to go to Arizona for the services at the end of the week. He was the end of Porter biological male line.
Joe being able to stay one night a week with Evelyn because he has a cast on a finger and can’t work regular shift work. It’s happened the last few weeks and has been such a help.
Jason graduated from his battle with ALS. That's a horrible disease.
Visiting and hugging Emily the evening Jason passed.
Observing how well Jason and Emily have been supported and loved by family, friends and ward members during this time.
Visiting Uncle Bob and seeing that the efforts Aunt Steph has gone to to help him regulate his diabetes are helping.
Going to temple with Glen for the first time in too long.
Having family names from my aunt and uncle to go do work for.
Seeing my cousin, Rachel Pallo in the temple unexpectedly, and hugging her.
Not being able to be on the session Jason and Emily had planned to go through on for Jason to do his dad’s work. But having someone in a wheelchair on the session we were on getting the help he needed to do all of the things he needed to at the temple.
Lucy and I missing our initial flight to Denver.
Catching a later flight to Denver with a funny stewardess.
Riding on scooters through the streets of Denver late at night with Lucy.
Having no responsibility in Denver when I wasn’t watching Lucy play volleyball. Not something I am use too.
Having a hard time making sense of Jason passing and Evelyn still being here.
Picture taking was sparse this week.

The blue bear at the Denver Convention Center where the tournament was played.
Lucy’s fun team
A squirrel, I passed a few times walking from my Airbnb to the convention center.
Peaking blue bear. The kids at home were very interested in it.
The team after a long first day. They played the latest game of the night. That first day was a good one though because they were undefeated.
More Blue Bear.
